The online regatta registration feature allows you to = post regatta information and lets members register for a regatta. This document answers some questions you might have about how online regatta registration works.

How do I create a regatta?

To create a regatta listing:

Log on. Only paid = members can create a regatta.
Click Regattas | Create.
Select the divisio= n and fleet hosting the regatta.
If you want to pos= t a Notice of Race (NOR), browse to locate one. A NOR can be a .doc, .docx, .pdf, or .htm file. However, be aware that some users migh= t not be able to read a .docx file (the new file formatted introduced in Word 2007).
Type the name of t= he regatta, a short description, and the location.
Select whether the= regatta is a National event.
Enter the Start da= te and End date for the regatta.
Enter the address,= city, state, country, and postal code to which entrants paying by check shou= ld mail the checks.
Enter the fees for entering the race.
Enter the US Saili= ng discount (if any).
Enter a descriptio= n of the meal served. For example, "Lunch".
Check whether part= icipant meals are included in the entry fee.
Enter the fees tha= t should be charged for non-included and extra meals. Make sure to enter a meal= fee and a child meal fee even if they are the same.
Check whether part= icipant t-shirts are included in the entry fee.
Enter the fee that= should be charged for non-included and extra t-shirts.
Click Insert.

Some information changed. Can I edit a regatta listing?

Yes. To modify a regatta listing:

Log on. Only an of= ficer or the person who created a regatta listing can modify it.
Click Regattas | Modify Regatta Listing.
If no regatta is s= hown, select the division hosting the regatta from the drop-down list.
If multiple regatt= as are shown, use the numbers at the bottom to select the regatta you want to modify.
After you locate t= he regatta you want to change, click Edit.
Change any fields = and click Update. If you want= to close the regatta without making a change, click Cancel.

I accidentally entered a regatta twice. Can I delete one?

Yes. If no one has registe= red for a regatta, you can delete it. To do so:

Log on. Only an of= ficer or the person who created a regatta listing can modify it.
Click Regattas | Modify Regatta Listing.
If no regatta is s= hown, select the division hosting the regatta from the drop-down list.
If multiple regatt= as are shown, use the numbers at the bottom to select the regatta you want to modify.
After you locate t= he regatta you want to change, click Edit.
Change any fields = and click Delete.

How do I receive a check for participants who paid by PayPal= or Credit Card?

After the regatta has star= ted, perform the following steps:

Log on. Only an officer or the person who created a regatta listing can genera= te a report.
Click Regattas | Reports.
Locate the regatta and click View Re= ports.
Select Save Excel File as the forma= t.
Click Get Registration List.
Save the registration list to your hard disk.
E-mail the list to the Treasurer. Make sure to include the mailing address wh= ere you want the check mailed in your e-mail.

How can I view detailed information about those who register= ed?

Regattas | Reports.
View Re= ports.
Get Registration List.

I click View Participants on the Registration List page, but= all information is not shown. Why?

This li= st is meant for other members to view who they will be sailing against. Informati= on about items purchased and how payments are received are not shown in this report due to protect members' privacy.

What do I do if someone reports a problem registering for a regatta or someone says they registered, but they do not appear on the list= ?

Send an= e-mail to one of the following people:
